Ministry of Transport: Air Asia Pilot Positive Use of Drugs

Jakarta, - Pilot Indonesia Air Asia flight momor initials FI with QZ7510 from Soekarno Hatta International Airport to Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport allegedly tested positive for illicit drug, morphine, Special Staff said Transport Minister Hadi M. Djuraid.

"The findings were obtained after urine examination by a team of Health Institute of Aeronautics and Tim Directorate of Airworthiness and Aircraft Operation MoT at Ngurah Rai Airport, this morning, Thursday, December 1st, 2015," Hadi said in a press release received here on Thursday.

The examination was conducted shortly after the relevant landing At 8:50 CDT.

Initially they will return to fly to Jakarta at 09:20 with QZ7511 flight.

The above findings FI pilots grounded and will undergo further tests at the Health Center in Jakarta Flight MoT. *
