Brazil and Netherlands Pull Ambassador of Indonesia After Citizens in Execution Dead

Jakarta - The government of Brazil and the Netherlands draw their ambassador in Indonesia. This withdrawal is done after the execution of citizens of both countries by the Indonesian government early this morning.

Launch Reuters on Sunday (18/01/2015), the Brazilian states, the withdrawal of their ambassador for consultations, and confirms the execution of their citizens Marco Archer Cardoso Moreira will affect the relationship between Brazil and Indonesia.


Meanwhile, the Netherlands is much harder to express condemnation of the execution of their citizens Ang Kiem Soei, once immediately withdraw their ambassador in Jakarta. Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders, even referring to the execution by Indonesia is something that violates human rights.

"It is cruel and inhumane, this kind of punishment should be rejected because of degrading human dignity and integrity," said Koenders.

In execution that took place early this morning, there were six people who undergo execution. Five of them are foreigners, they were executed prisoners are drug cases.

The following six death row inmates.

1. Marco Archer Cardoso Moreira (Brazilians) executed in reclaiming.
2. Rani Andriani (Indonesian citizen) executed in reclaiming.
3. Tran Thi Bich Hanh (Vietnamese citizens) were executed in Boyolali.
4. Namaona Denis (Citizens Malawi) executed in Nusakambangan.
5. Daniel Enemuo (The Nigerian) executed in Nusakambangan.
6. Ang Kiem Soei (Dutch citizen) was executed in Nusakambangan.
